Job overview
PartnerReach Marketing, LLC is recruiting a remote Affiliate Marketing Assistant to support its affiliate programs. Affiliate programs pay partners, such as creators, review sites, and deal sites, a commission when they drive sales or sign-ups. Your job is to keep that program running smoothly: bringing in new partners, onboarding them, tracking results, answering questions, coordinating payouts, and reporting on what works. Paid training is provided, so prior affiliate marketing experience is not required.
This is an affiliate-program role, not an influencer-outreach role and not a general marketing coordinator role. An Influencer Outreach Assistant typically focuses on relationships with individual influencers and campaigns, while a Marketing Coordinator typically handles a broad mix of channels. This position centers on the affiliate channel: partners, tracking links, commissions, compliance, and performance reporting.
Looking to earn commissions as an affiliate?
This page is for a paid job helping manage an affiliate program, at an hourly rate. It is not a program where you promote products to earn commissions. If a "job" ever asks you to pay a fee or buy products to start, treat it as a warning sign.
New to affiliate marketing? You can still apply
No prior affiliate marketing experience is required. Strong written English, organization, and attention to detail are the main prerequisites. Training covers affiliate platforms, partner recruitment, and reporting. You do not need a degree or certification.
Employment options and schedule
Full-time roles typically involve about 40 hours per week. Part-time and contract roles are often ongoing retainers. Exact hours, expectations, and monthly reporting deadlines are discussed during the interview.
What you’ll do
- Recruit new affiliates and partners, such as content creators, review sites, and coupon or deal sites, for the program.
- Manage affiliate onboarding and documentation so new partners know the program terms and how to get started.
- Track affiliate performance in platforms such as Impact, ShareASale, PartnerStack, or CJ Affiliate.
- Analyze affiliate traffic, conversions, and revenue, and track the program’s KPIs.
- Create affiliate marketing assets such as banners, tracking links, and coupon codes.
- Communicate program updates to active affiliates.
- Handle affiliate questions and support requests promptly and professionally.
- Prepare commission statements and coordinate payments, checking figures carefully before anything is sent.
- Support commission and payout disputes by gathering the records needed to resolve them.
- Identify top performers and flag candidates for deeper partnership.
- Monitor program compliance, including coupon abuse and trademark violations, and escalate issues as the team directs.
- Coordinate with legal on affiliate agreements.
- Prepare monthly affiliate performance reports.
A typical affiliate program cycle
Exact steps vary by program, but the work often follows a repeatable cycle:
For example, you might invite a new content site to join, send onboarding documents and tracking links, and later review its clicks and conversions in the platform. At month end you check commissions against the records, coordinate the payout, and add the partner’s results to the monthly report.
Platforms you’ll use
Depending on the program, you may work in Impact, ShareASale, PartnerStack, or CJ Affiliate, plus spreadsheets for tracking and reconciliation. Training covers the platforms, and the specific platform and access should be confirmed during the interview. No coding is required.
Required qualifications
- Strong written English for affiliate communications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; no degree or certification required.
- Strong research and organizational skills.
- Comfort with affiliate platforms such as Impact, ShareASale, PartnerStack, or CJ, or willingness to learn.
- Comfort with spreadsheets for tracking.
- Attention to detail for commission tracking and payouts.
- Basic understanding of affiliate marketing models.
- Reliability with monthly reporting.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior affiliate, marketing, or partnership experience.
