Atlantic Virtual Access Services is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Telehealth Patient Access Representative to support patients before, during, and after virtual healthcare appointments. This role focuses on patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, appointment preparation, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the telehealth experience.

The Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for many patients and plays a key role in creating a positive digital healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Register new patients into electronic health record systems
• Verify insurance eligibility and demographic information
• Schedule telehealth appointments
• Provide patients with virtual visit instructions
• Answer questions regarding telehealth services
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Coordinate with providers and clinical teams
• Protect confidential patient information
• Resolve scheduling issues promptly
• Deliver outstanding customer service

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to multitask in a remote environment
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy standards preferred
