North Star Healthcare Systems Management is seeking a Remote Healthcare Systems Administrator to administer and optimize enterprise healthcare systems that support hospitals, outpatient clinics, and telehealth providers. This role focuses on server administration, system monitoring, operating system maintenance, automation, user administration, performance optimization, and ensuring healthcare technology remains available and secure.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting mission-critical IT systems, maintaining enterprise infrastructure, and collaborating with security, networking, and application teams in highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer Windows and Linux healthcare systems
  • Monitor system performance and availability
  • Manage Active Directory and identity services
  • Perform software installation, patching, and upgrades
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues
  • Automate routine administration tasks
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Support cloud-connected healthcare services
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Participate in on-call infrastructure support rotations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Administration, or related field preferred
