Great Lakes Integrated Health Systems is seeking a Remote Healthcare Full Stack Developer to build scalable healthcare applications from frontend interfaces to backend services. This position focuses on developing secure web applications, integrating healthcare APIs, optimizing databases, and creating responsive user experiences for hospitals, telehealth organizations, and healthcare providers.

The ideal candidate has experience working across the full software development lifecycle and enjoys building secure, cloud-ready healthcare platforms that improve clinical and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack healthcare applications
• Build responsive frontend interfaces and secure backend APIs
• Develop cloud-native application architectures
• Integrate FHIR and HL7 healthcare data services
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Implement authentication and authorization solutions
• Collaborate with UX designers, DevOps engineers, and product managers
• Support CI/CD deployment pipelines
• Maintain technical documentation and code quality standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• 4+ years of full stack software development experience
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript development skills
• Experience with frontend and backend frameworks
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Excellent analytical and collaboration skills
