Carolina Healthcare Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Remote Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise technology strategy for healthcare organizations. This role focuses on enterprise architecture, cloud modernization, application portfolio planning, interoperability, cybersecurity alignment, governance, and digital transformation initiatives supporting hospitals, clinics, and telehealth providers.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience designing enterprise technology ecosystems, leading architectural governance, and aligning technology investments with healthcare business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise technology architecture strategies
• Create long-term digital transformation roadmaps
• Evaluate enterprise applications and cloud platforms
• Define architecture standards and governance processes
• Lead interoperability and systems integration initiatives
• Collaborate with executive leadership and technology teams
• Guide technology modernization projects
• Review cybersecurity architecture alignment
• Produce enterprise architecture documentation
• Mentor architects and engineering teams

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
• 8+ years of enterprise architecture or senior technology leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing and enterprise integration
• Experience with architecture governance frameworks
• Excellent strategic planning and communication skills
• Proven ability to lead complex technology initiatives
