Bay State Digital Health Technologies is seeking a Remote Healthcare Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain secure server-side applications powering digital healthcare platforms. This role focuses on API development, microservices architecture, cloud-native applications, database optimization, authentication, and high-performance backend systems that support hospitals, telehealth organizations, and healthcare providers.

The ideal candidate has experience developing scalable backend services, integrating healthcare systems, and implementing secure application architectures within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable backend healthcare services
  • Create secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Build microservices for healthcare applications
  • Integrate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • Optimize database performance and reliability
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms
  • Develop automated unit and integration tests
