This role focuses on secure software development, vulnerability testing, application security reviews, threat modeling, security automation, and protecting sensitive healthcare technology platforms.

The ideal candidate has experience integrating security into software development processes, identifying application vulnerabilities, and partnering with engineering teams to build secure healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform application security assessments
• Conduct vulnerability testing and code reviews
• Implement secure software development practices
• Develop application security automation
• Create threat models for healthcare applications
• Analyze security vulnerabilities and remediation plans
• Support DevSecOps initiatives
• Review APIs and application architectures
• Develop security documentation
• Collaborate with developers and cybersecurity teams

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
• 4+ years of application security experience
• Knowledge of secure coding principles
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools
• Understanding of web application security concepts
• Strong analytical and communication skills
