This work-from-home healthcare position helps patients successfully begin their virtual healthcare journey by collecting information, coordinating appointments, and ensuring accurate onboarding processes.

The Clinical Intake Specialist serves as the first point of contact for many patients entering virtual care programs. This role combines healthcare administration, patient communication, and technology support to create a smooth telemedicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient intake processes through digital healthcare systems
• Collect and verify patient demographic and medical information
• Schedule virtual healthcare appointments
• Assist patients with telehealth platform setup
• Review insurance and eligibility information
• Communicate patient needs with clinical teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in healthcare systems
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the intake process

Qualifications

• Healthcare administration or patient support experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with electronic health records preferred
• Comfort using computers and digital healthcare platforms
• Ability to manage multiple patient interactions
• Reliable internet connection for remote work
