Allied TeleHealth Services is seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Documentation Registered Nurse to support our growing virtual healthcare network. This remote RN position focuses on improving clinical documentation quality, reviewing patient records, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and complete medical information.

The Clinical Documentation RN will play an important role in supporting telehealth providers by reviewing electronic medical records, identifying documentation opportunities, and helping healthcare teams deliver efficient, compliant, and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation within electronic health records
• Collaborate with providers to improve documentation accuracy
• Identify missing or unclear clinical information
• Support quality improvement initiatives
• Analyze patient records for documentation completeness
• Provide feedback and education to healthcare teams
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and HIPAA standards
• Participate in virtual clinical operations meetings

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Clinical nursing experience required
• Strong medical terminology knowledge
• Experience reviewing medical records preferred
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Experience

• Clinical documentation improvement (CDI)
• Medical coding knowledge
• Hospital nursing experience
• Quality assurance programs
